In sixth grade, my parents bought me my first camera while on vacation in Hong Kong, a Pentax ME
My first published photos were in my seventh grade yearbook.
I never thought of photography as a career until I went to visit my parents in Milan, at the time I was pursuing a degree in hotel management with the goal of moving somewhere with great waves and surfing as much as possible.
After a few years of assisting some great and not so great photographers, I went out on my own. While shooting for various designers and publications, I also worked as a technical producer through many seasons of New York Fashion Week. Gaining insight to a whole other facet of the fashion world that has influenced me and been incorporated into my work.
I still surf and live in NYC with my partner Lulu and our dog Winnie.
